First pillar of southern bridge

On The Loop site, work on building the southern bridge commenced on 14 September 2009.  After preparatory foundation works, the first aboveground pillar was created at the end of November 2009. Although the infrastructure works on The Loop will not yet be entirely finished by the time this bridge is completed, it is nevertheless the capstone for the full opening up of the site so as to make further development of the site possible.
